About

A Hot Spring Dyeing Story from Kobe - Wrapped in the Colors of Arima

The moment when Arima Onsen’s golden waters catch the evening sun and glow in shades of gold.
ARIMA COLOR was born from the desire to dye fabrics with the very color of the hot spring itself.
Focusing on the natural hues created by mineral-rich spring water, each piece is carefully hand-dyed and hand-woven by skilled artisans.
Inspired by the spirit of Yusen Momen, a hot-spring dyeing tradition documented in the 1800s, this work carries that legacy into the present by blending local resources with traditional techniques.
A luxury stole, created in harmony with nature and shared with the world from Kobe.

ARIMA COLOR expresses the hues of Arima’s hot springs and the memories rooted in the land, dyed with the natural color of the golden spring itself and crafted through hand-dyeing and hand-weaving.
The LUX series features a rare L-shaped form created through hand weaving, offering freedom and depth in how it can be worn.
With time, each handwoven stole softens and adapts to the body and style of its wearer, gradually becoming a truly personal piece.
