The base filigree design is a traditional craft technique with a 5,000-year history, originating in ancient Mesopotamia. This technique is now extremely rare in modern times. It involves meticulously shaping silver wires thinner than 1 millimeter by hand—a labor-intensive process that cannot be replicated through mass production. As a result, it has been steadily declining, overshadowed by inexpensive, mass-produced accessories. In Europe, it is already classified as an antique craft.
By combining this global traditional craftsmanship with authentic Japanese pearls, the brilliance is further enhanced. These genuine pearls are rare ‘baby pearls,’ Akoya pearls measuring 6 millimeters or smaller, accounting for only 4% of total production.
