Product Description

This work is a rare piece in which motifs such as cherry blossoms and plovers, symbolic of Tsujigahana ( crossroad flower), are delicately drawn with a fine brush in kachin-gaki (Japanese technique painting fine resist outlines) style, and silk organza dyed in soft colors, along with gold and silver threads, are sandwiched between transparent silk and merino wool before the whole piece is felted.

Merino wool is water-resistant and resistant to dirt, so frequent washing is not necessary. At the end of the season, please either dry-clean or hand-wash at home. When washing, use lukewarm water and a mild detergent, gently pressing the fabric. Afterwards, lightly spin-dry, shape with a medium-temperature iron while semi-dry, and then air-dry in the shade.

As this work is hand-painted and handmade, each piece is one-of-a-kind. We regret to inform you that additional orders cannot be accepted.
