Dandelions JAPAN is based in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, and shares the craftsmanship and cultural beauty of Japan with the world.
From the heart of Japan, we connect the nation’s living culture and the thoughts of its people to the world. Traditions and arts passed down through generations carry the climate of each region, the skills of artisans, and the stories of the people who live there. Cherishing each of these qualities, we present our works and products in forms that blend seamlessly into the modern lifestyle.
Through partnerships with artisans, artists, and companies across Japan, we carefully curate timeless works and products—from kimono and ceramics to textiles and contemporary art. We bring creations where Japanese tradition resonates with modern sensibilities to people around the world.

Our Approach

“Our approach to cultural exchange is built on collaboration and sustainability. By working closely with skilled artisans across Japan, we ensure that every product we offer is not only of the highest quality, but also reflects Japan’s artistic and cultural values. These partnerships support local economies, help preserve time-honored traditions, and allow us to share authentic Japanese culture with customers around the world.
We once operated a subscription service delivering Japanese sweets to customers overseas. Through seasonal flavors and specialty confections unique to the Tokai region, we shared Japan’s sense of kindness and thoughtful Japanese hospitality with the world.
Over time, however, we realized that Japan’s true appeal extends beyond taste，living within its culture, aesthetic sensibilities, and craftsmanship. This realization led us to evolve our business into a new stage.
Today, we share Japanese culture with the world through kimono at its heart. Kimono are more than garments—they are treasures passed down through time. Within a single piece of fabric are woven reverence for nature, the changing seasons, and the spirit of the artisans. We bring this delicate beauty to the world in forms that resonate with modern sensibilities.
